The original Chefs Mate  by Alexander Handmade Mills is a well proportioned and heavy pepper grinder made of solid brass which is subsequently chrome-plated and polished. The 3-part grinding mechanism first guides the spice down into the mechanism, after which it is coarsely ground and finally completely finely ground.
